Welcome to our School Clubs Page
Sport 4 Learning offers a range of before and after school clubs covering a range of sports and activities.
The clubs are designed to fit in to the Sport 4 Learning philosophy of game based learning. All clubs will offer children a chance to develop their individual and team skills within a games setting. Sessions are highly active and engaging with the children’s development and enjoyment at the centre of everything.
Our clubs are:
KS1 Multi Skills
The KS1 Multi Skills club is for our youngest children to develop the fundamental skills that they will need to progress in sport. The club is not sport specific, children will develop a wide range of skills and techniques within a theme based lesson from movement skills, ball skills and simple teamwork and strategy skills.
KS1 Football
The KS1 football club is designed inline with the FA’s play phase model. This club is designed to give our youngest children their first experience of football. The aim of the sessions is to develop the children’s individual skills and techniques with a ball. Working from the premise of ‘Me and the Ball’ the sessions offer children countless chances with a ball to learn and develop.
KS2 Football
The KS2 football club is a game based club that gives players a chance to develop through gameplay. Sessions are structured using different small sided games, 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 etc which allows children to get a high number of touches in a game situation to develop their skills and techniques as well as game understanding.
KS2 Athletics
The KS2 athletics club will develop children’s ability to run, jump and throw. Movement is the key to success and this club will develop children’s individual athleticism as well as applying to athletics specific events.
KS2 Multi Sport
‘Variety is the spice of life’. The KS2 multi sport club will offer children a chance to play a range of sports and activities. This will broaden sporting knowledge as well as developing a wider skill set and game understanding. The sessions are highly active and game based allowing children to fully dive into each sport. Some of the sports that children will cover are: Tag Rugby, Hockey, Dodgeball, Flag Football, Handball, Netball, Basketball, Lacrosse and many more.
